I hope you can relax for a while once this headache is taken care of.

I am so sorry.

This new ad guy read my email, never got back to me to confirm when the announcement could be published, how much it would cost, etc. He went silent. I even wrote him to say I was getting approval for it from my committee!

Then the thing gets printed today and in BW no less. I only found all this out because I wanted to see if he wrote back about placing the ad. He said it was already printed and that he was printing it again next week...again too early.

I talked to the Town Clerk who is immediately notifying the webmaster to stand by to update our DTR page. I have a JPEG of the cover to send her and all the language she needs.

What the heck??!!

Thank you so much for being available to do this!

Hi Mary,

Yikes. I’ll get them to you this in the next hour or so.

FYI I uploaded the files to the printer this morning.

Pat, the Hometown Weekly already published the announcement I sent them without reaching out to me.

So now people think the print copies are at the Town House. This means I have to scramble to get the PDFs online on the Dover Town website.

Could you send me the full report and the broken section PDFs when you have time? I have reach out to the Town Clerk and alert her.

Mike,

The reports are not available yet. If people go to the Town House, there won't be hard copies available for them. I will have to scramble to get the Town House to post the PDFs online ASAP.

I had been looking for publication after April 17. Before you run it again, let me modify the ad so that is say "bound paperback copies will be available as of April 18" and get that revision to you.

Good morning, Mary,
The ad is on page 6 of this week's Dover paper.   I'll run it again next week.

Hi, Mike.

Not sure if perhaps I missed a reply from you, but could you get back to me regarding the placement of the attached ad?

Thanks!

Mary

Hi, Mike.

As per Julia's direction in a previous email exchange, I'm reaching out to you to put into motion this year's Dover Town Report "announcement ad," which we are required to annually publish once our town report is available to citizens two weeks before our annual town meeting.

This year, our hardbound copies will arrive at the Dover Town House on April 17. The announcement should ideally be published as early as possible beginning April 18, but the actual date, of course, depends on the D-S HW's schedule and ad space availability.

We publish a simple 2" x 5" ad, which I'm attaching for you here as a PDF. I've got it out to my fellow committee members for approval, but that's just a formality.

Could you reach out to me when you have a minute so that we can discuss cost and publishing date?

I'm around all day today and from morning until 1 p.m. on Monday. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Mary Kalamaras
